About Me
My name is Stephan Baker and I’m a software engineer living and working in Louisville, Kentucky. I love to learn new technologies and software development techniques, and have been employed at a great company for the last 6 years, where I’ve had the chance to work with numerous clients and deliver great sofware solutions. I believe in picking the right tool for the job, and being willing to step outside of your comfort zone to deliver outstanding service. I value hard work, clear communication, collaboration, iteration, and above all else, the audacity to have fun.
I have a passion for all things related to game development and crafting interactive experiences. I grew up playing games, and during college I discovered they were just as much fun (if not more fun) to make. Where I work, I am fortunate to have been a member of a team that has released multiple mobile games on Apple’s App Store. Outside of work, I work on personal projects, travel to conferences, and strive to stay engaged with other game developers. There are so many interesting problems to solve in game development, and in my opinion, it’s the perfect medium for excercising creativity and self-expression. If you’re like me, and you love this stuff as well, I’d love to hear from you!
